🎨 Surprise Colour — how it works

Switch Lites come in loads of official colours — coral pink, turquoise, blue, grey, yellow and more. Your console ships in a surprise colour from whatever premium stock we have in: that's how we keep quality high and prices down.

✓ Got a colour you definitely DON'T want? Just leave a note at checkout — e.g. "no pink please" — and we'll make sure you don't get it.
✓ Want a specific look? Customise your console's shell with our shell customisation service and make it exactly yours — the surprise colour only applies if you don't customise.

Why hard-modded?

✓ No PC, ever — press power, start playing
✓ Done inside the console — by our technician, invisible from the outside
✓ Works on the Switch Lite — Nintendo's most portable model

Why ModxGaming?

Hard-mod installs are precision work — not a job for a first attempt. Every Switch Lite is modded and stress-tested by us before dispatch, and the work is covered by the same 12-month warranty as the console itself.

Common Questions:

What colour will I get?
A surprise — one of the official Switch Lite colours (coral pink, turquoise, blue, grey, yellow and others). Leave a note at checkout for any colour you specifically don't want, or customise your shell to choose your exact look.

What exactly has been modded?
This is a modded console. For more information, contact us and we'll happily explain.

Will it get banned online?
We recommend using this console offline. Online play with a modded console carries a real ban risk.

Can it connect to a TV?
No — the Switch Lite is Nintendo's handheld-only model with no video output. If you want TV play, check out our Hard-Modded Switch OLED.

Can I add my own games?
Absolutely. The SD card is fully accessible — add, remove or organise content however you like.

What if the SD card fails?
Covered under our 12-month warranty. We'll replace it free of charge.

What's your return policy?
30-day returns, no questions asked. If you're not happy, we'll make it right.
